Camping at Limefitt
Many years ago, Limefitt Park was a camp site and there were no lodges on the site at all, as you can see in this photograph
Today this situation has reversed and, as of 2009, there is now no camping available at Limefitt Park
You can find some local alternatives on the GoLakes site here and the Total Travel site here. Another good web site is Lake District Camping.
It looks as though these sites haven't been updated in a while though as Limefitt Park is still listed on all of them at the time of writing (November 09).
Mind you, for a more comfortable, warmer and drier alternative, why not look at the lodges to rent on this site :-)

Touring Caravans at Limefitt Park
Unfortunately you can no longer visit Limefitt Park for either seasonal or short stay touring
We understand that the touring area will be developed with new lodges over the next couple of years
