General Description

Esthwaite Lodge is a pet-friendly log cabin. It is one of the larger traditional lodges and boasts a wonderful beckside location for a relaxing holiday in the Lake District.

The log cabin is only a few miles from Windermere and Ambleside and within easy reach of Ullswater.

The cabin has a private balcony which looks out across the beck towards a field and Troutbeck village in the .

The Lodge shares the use of the park's adventure playground and the on-site pub - the Haybarn. A free WIFI internet connection is provided by Limefitt park. There is also a small selection of groceries available to buy on site as well as a laundry room.

Walking is possible directly onto the bridle paths on the hills behind the log cabin, but a car is advisable to get the best of your holiday for access to Windermere and the surrounding towns.

• Lounge with 2 comfortable sofas, Freeview TV, DVD recorder/player, CD player/DAB radio, gas coal effect fire, dining table with seating for 4
• A large selection of DVD's, guide books, maps and information on local walks, games and books.
• Well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment) kettle and toaster.
• Bathroom: Full sized bath with over head shower, toilet and basin. Recently refurbished to a very high standard.
• Twin bedroom with 2 full sized single beds, fitted wardrobes and cupboards
• Double bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes and cupboards
• Large private balcony/sun deck with access from lounge and views over the Beck. Garden furniture.
• Extra large parking space suitable for two cars.
• Bed linen, towels and tea towels are al provided free of charge. Beds made up for arrival.
• No extra cleaning or utility charges.
• Double glazing and Central heating throughout.
• Travel cot and highchair can be provided at no extra cost..
• One well behaved dog accepted at an additional charge of £15.
• No smoking inside the lodge
