General Description

Herdwick Lodge is a privately owned pine lodge comfortably accommodating four people.

New as of 2009, Herdwick Lodge offers a high specification throughout and occupies an enviable position at the top of the park affording an unspoilt view out across the conservation area and surrounding fells. This can be enjoyed equally from the generous deck or the adjoining open plan living area.

Limefitt is a five star holiday park only minutes from Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside yet tucked away in the peaceful location of the Troutbeck valley.

Facilities on the park include the Haybarn pub which provides local ales, excellent food and Sky TV. You will find a park shop, a laundrette, free WiFi, a large sports field and a children's play park. The Trout Beck River runs through the park with a popular River Pool area allowing children and adults to paddle and fish.

• Kettle, toaster, cafe tier, knife block and utensils, wok, pans, scales, crockery and utensils.

Rental notes and additional information

• Changeover day is Friday.
• Check in from 3pm on day of arrival. Please vacate by 10am on day of departure.
• The full balance is required four weeks before arrival to secure a full week booking.
• Short breaks (midweek or weekend bookings) are not usually available during peak summer holiday periods however enquiries may be considered at short notice.
• Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included.
• With regret, we do not allow dogs / pets or smoking.
• Travel cot and booster seat available at no extra charge.
• Midweek and weekend bookings are payable on booking.
• Worcester combi boiler gas central heating.
• Fully double glazed.
• Gas, electricity and cleaning charge are included.
• The facilities of Whitecross Bay at Windermere can be used for a daily or weekly rate and include a heated indoor pool and gym.
