General Description

Hideaway Lodge is a privately owned three bedroom luxury lodge offering accommodation for up to six people. Featuring full central heating and double glazing the lodge is warm and cosy all year round. Situated in the beautiful Troutbeck valley between Lakes Windermere and Ullswater, Limefitt Park is set amidst breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife.

Limefitt Park has been awarded the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and accredited with 5 stars by The English Tourism Council.

On site you will find a traditional Lakeland pub serving a varied menu and fine ales and a small shop for any basic necessities such as milk and newspapers. For the children there is an adventure playground and a large playing field. In addition Troutbeck stream runs through the site providing hours of entertainment for the children.

The Lake District towns of Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside are within a few minutes drive away. In addition many walks can be made directly from the site up onto the Lakeland Fells.

We are pleased to confirm that all our guests have complimentary use of the Low Wood Leisure Club* during their your stay. The club has a delightful swimming pool and gym as well as many other leisure facilities to try. Additionally guests will receive up to 20% off the watersports activities at the Low Wood Marina opposite the club.

* The Low Wood Club is located at the Low Wood Hotel 4 miles from Limefitt on the main A591 between Windermere & Ambleside.

Additional information

• A membership pass for the leisure club at our sister site, White Cross Bay is available for the length of your stay. The cost for this is approximately £50. Please ask at time of booking

• Our Maximum Occupancy is 6 adults (plus 1 child in cot ).
• We offer weekly stays of 7 nights arriving on a Friday or Monday.
• Short breaks are available throughout the year. Either a 3 night weekend short break (arrive Friday 4pm depart by 10am Monday) or a 4 night midweek break (arrive Monday 4pm depart by 10am Friday)
• Price is fully inclusive of all bedding, bed linen and towels, gas and electricity and local cleaning charge.
• Dogs welcome (up to 2 small/medium dogs at £10 each per stay)
• A £100 deposit is required to secure the booking with balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
• All payment cards accepted (credit cards subject to 2% handling fee) and bookings can be made by phone by calling 015394 68032
• Hideaway Lodge can be booked between March 1st and January 14th. We regret we are unable to offer stays between January 15th and February 28th as Limefitt Park is closed.
• For any other stays outside of these requirements including Monday arrivals, stays of longer than 7 days or flexible arrival and departure days (only within 2 weeks of stay) you will need to contact us to discuss.
• Returning or referred guests receive a 10% discount on final price which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Special offer discounts are usually available within 1 month of arrival.
