We had a brill time, weather great, we will be back next year. Our dogs loved it - Alfie who is terrified of fireworks didn't even know it was bonfire night. Brill for us all. - November 2011
A lovely lodge – very cosy and well-equipped.. The surroundings are beautiful. - November 2011
This is our 1st stay in the Kingfisher Lodge and we have had a lovely time, as have Charlie and Bouncer, our two Labradors. We think the Lodge is great and the terrace area allowed us to soak up the day of sunshine on Saturday ... The views and walks are superb and the Lodge makes a perfect base for all of these lovely country walks. Many thanks. - October 2011
We enjoyed our stay - even the wet day. Very peaceful and lovely to hear the water which is so soothing. Many thanks. PS our very fussy bichon frise only likes five-star rated places like here! - September 2011
This is our 2nd stay at the lodge. We had a lovely time. The weather has been mixed this year (last year we had glorious sunshine every day!!), But it hasn't stopped our enjoyment. We had a great time yesterday walking a circular route to Ambleside and Wansfell Pike and then finishing at the Mortal Man for a glass of Sally Birkett ale - very nice. Last night we went to the Queens head and had the most wonderful meal, it was warm and cosy and friendly - just like the Lodge.. Thank you for a very special week once again. - August 2011
Lodge is brill - better than expected. Weather wasn't brill although lots of things to do out and about. Inside, food at Sun Inn is wonderful, better than the Mortal Man. Bike rides and walks are excellent. Our great Dane loved it here. We're even looking into buying a cabin in the future. Thank you John and Linda for a lovely log cabin. Really enjoyed it and will be back next year. - August 2011
The 2nd time we've been. Just as good as the 1st if not better! Travis our dog wants to stop for ever. Only one bad day for weather. Food at Haybarn good. - July 2011
Had a great holiday - weather was a lot better than expected. Went out every day. Sam the cocker spaniel loved his daily run in the dog field and his swim in the beck The log cabin was everything I wanted and more. It was excellent. Will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you John and Linda! - July 2011
Had a great time, weather was superb, did plenty of walking. Especially enjoyed getting the ferry from Glennridding to Howtown and walking back. Had a couple of meals at the Queen's head which were gorgeous. Log cabin is so relaxing and the reclining chairs are great after a long walk. Thanks to John and Linda, will definitely come back. - July 2011
Have had a lovely relaxing holiday. Weather not too good but didn't stop us doing anything. Log cabin is like home from home - all the creature comforts you need (excellent) BBQ every day. Dogs have had a great time - will certainly come back. Great place, very much enjoyed our stay. Will def come again. - July 2011
Fantastic weekend away from it all. While she was so well equipped with everything and beautiful weather too. Would love to return again and even bring the children (maybe!). The peace and quiet is so relaxing. Would definitely recommend. - July 2011
Have a lovely relaxing time. Can't believe how quiet it the, dogs enjoyed every moment, especially paddling in the stream. Well equipped lodge - all home comforts, will definitely recommend for a tranquil holiday. - June 2011
Thank you for the attention from booking to leaving. Kingfisher is in an ideal position in the Park the river directly outside the field with horses on the other side of it. Everything that is needed is here (or close at hand) for a stress-ree and enjoyable holiday. Hope to be back. - June 2011
John and Linda (and all connected with Limefitt) What a lovely relaxing 2 weeks for myself and wife. We have enjoyed the lodge. Everything you need and want. Weather has been good to us this time - we have been to the lakes many times and it always seems to rain all the time. This time we were able to get out and about and sleep like babies, so quiet and peaceful (loved it all). - June 2011
Nice quaint side and cosy cabin stop the dog has really enjoyed himself. Lovely villages and small towns.. Nice break. - May 2011
A lovely week we have all had. If the weather. This was our 2nd time here. Lots of walks and nice meals. Coniston was a wonderful day out. Our two pugs loved running in the lake. Ullswater was fantastic. We ate in the Sun inn - it was lovely. Everywhere you go you can't go wrong. You must walk to the Mortal Man and have a meal. Well, we have to go - still lovely weather just watching the Royal wedding and off we go back to Manchester. PS my husband loves the chair. - April 2011
Great Easter break! Great British weather!! Beautiful lodge, great area for walks. Our dog Mollie loved the fact that she could come everywhere with us (including the pub). The Queen's head pub is very dog friendly and has fantastic food! We hope to return in the future. - April 2011
Have a wonderful week, no rain all week and had great walks all the time. We loved the walk to town end through the church garden stop everyone loves the sun and as my nan calls it " babbling brook, babbling brook". We all love this cabin and we hope we can come back soon - April 2011
Had a wonderful short break, rained on day one but was sunny for the rest. Managed to get out on walks on all days. We found the Mortal Man to be the most doggie friendly. Food and beer was also excellent. The lodge was really cosy and in a perfect location. Hope to return in the future. - April 2011
Thanks for a lovely break, enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the park. Pity about the weather which curtailed our walks but we enjoyed the relaxation non the less. Nice to find places so welcoming for dogs. Recommend the food and beer at the Mortal Man. Thanks again. - March 2011
Thank you: For preparing us for the badgers! And giving your friends the space to: Mark Eat a lot Play games such as balderdash, blackjack, BS, 21 and drink while you think. For having an amazing heating system to providers with constant hot showers. Reception for providing us with all the information we needed. We also got a lot from the information you gave us. For making easier for us to come to Kingfisher Lodge will stop we were worried with it babbling brook babbling brook. Being such a dog friendly place as our Leripoopums died last year. March 2011
We have had a wonderful holiday! Weather mainly fine and dry, just wet on last day. Not a problem as the dogs were ready for a rest!! The walks and scenery are beautiful. The Lodge is cosy and comfortable, a home from home. Everything provided and dog needs catered for. Our Jack Russell and cocker spaniel loved the riverpool and the dog field. They'll need a week to recover! Our daughter loved her 1st holiday, especially feeding the ducks at Bowness. We would all love to come back maybe in summer - we could have barbecues beside the decking. Will be recommending to friends and family. Many thanks John and Linda! - March 2011
Absolutely fantastic–cabin is like a home from home, everything you need to hand. We are speechless over the surrounding countryside – Scooby the 6 year old bearded collie is grateful for the dog field - it's lovely dogs aren't forgotten. We will be back next year, and once again we will not be disappointed. Once again thank you for making our 1st trip to the Lakes the 1st of many. March 2011
Fantastic short break. Log cabin fantastic . Don't want to go home, our 9 month old standard poodle (Alfie) loved it. We all want to come back again! - January 2011
The lodge is absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately our holiday was delayed 24 hours due to frozen pipes however the perseverance from John and Gary enabled us to get to the lodges in a prompt fashion. The Lodge, Hay barn inn, and Mortal Man are fantastic! All of which are very welcoming to our 2-year-old Dalmatian. New Year's Eve at the Haybarn is a must!! Only one word is sufficient for John and that's THANKYOU - happy New Year - January 2011
Wonderful place to spend a 40th birthday weekend–for those of us who are party animals but just want a quiet weekend with family instead ! Clean, cosy, comfortable – love listening to water flowing outside. Haybarn is a lovely pub–plenty Jennings was supped! Lovely Sunday lunch at the Mortal Man. Kids enjoyed the park and surroundings. Richie our 8-year-old Staffie loved the dog field. Would we come again? Definitely!!! Thank you for a great weekend. - December 2010
Due to the snowy conditions we were unable to enjoy some of the walks that you recommended. However, the snow made for some gorgeous views and some stunning scenery. Lodge was lovely, cosy and we enjoyed the park and area muchly. Thank you for letting us stay - many thanks. - December 2010
Had an amazing weekend here. We came to relax and enjoy the walking and spend some time with our 18-month-old King Charles Cavalier. Beautiful location and the cabin is so cosy! 2nd time here and already thinking about our 3rd! - November 2010
Love the lodge, cosy and warm and clean. We have all enjoyed it. Pity about the weather today! thank you. - November 2010
We have just stayed for the weekend to take our dogs away from fireworks. This is also the 1st holiday we have had with our daughter (10 weeks old) Jessica, so we wanted to stay somewhere really nice. It has been lovely weather, the lodge has been lovely and cosy, we have had a few trips out Kendal, Windermere and theocal pub. We will always have fond memories of this our 1st holiday as a family. Thank you so much. - November 2010
Thank you John and Linda for a very relaxing and much-needed 5 days in your wonderful lodge. We were gutted about the weather as it was pretty much torrential rain for the entire time, however, we did have one dry day which we had a lovely walk around Ullswater Lake and a beautiful meal in the Ramblers bar. The help and information which you provided us with before we came was extremely helpful and informative, and we found the log cabin to be exceptionally well-equipped. Very toasty and comfortable. All of the nearby pubs are excellent - very welcoming and dog friendly. We spent a lovely evening in the Queens Head sampling the real (strong!) ales. Our King Charles spaniel has definitely enjoyed himself and I don't think he will allow us to go out again at home without taking him with us! We so wanted to try out some of the walks mentioned in the green folder so there is only one thing for it. We will definitely have to book again and order a better week's weather wise, with no flooding. Many many thanks for a lovely time and hope to visit again next year! - November 2010
We had a wonderful stay at Kingfisher Lodge. It is also the weekend that we got engaged (at Helvellyn!), So thank you for providing such a memorable backdrop! It has rained nearly all weekend but that doesn't spoil anything that waterproof clothes can't sort out! Rooms get lovely and warm ... Anyway can't wait to get back and visit again. - October 2010
This has been a wonderful break for our family. It is our children's 1st visit to the Lakes and they have fallen in love with it just like we did. The dog thinks he has died and arrived in dog heaven. The lodge is so cute and comfortable. We have had some really cosy nights. Limefitt is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time. - October 2010
We have really enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher Lodge. It's a nice peaceful location with a lot of lovely walks right on the doorstep, as others in close striking distance. Would recommend Aira Force only about 25 min drive and not too challenging the walk when you get there. Would come back to the lodge again. Has everything you need for a nice relaxing break. October 2010
We've had a wonderful stay here at Kingfisher Lodge. Idyllic and peaceful location. Can hear birds for miles. Was great to get away. We will be telling all our family and friends about Limefitt and we ourselves will be returning. - October 2010
We enjoyed our stay in your well-equipped comfortable lodge. Another lovely weekend in Lakeland with perfect weather. - October 2010
This was the 1st time I stayed in this lodge even though I have been visiting Limefitt since I was a child. I thought the wlodge was lovely, very comfy, cosy and in a beautiful location overlooking the stream. I especially enjoyed the reclining chairs at the end of the day having walked to the very top of England! I liked reading your instructions as they were entertaining as well as informative. Good DVDs PS2 etc although we didn't have time to use them as the weather was so kind to us! I also like the glow in the dark stickers in the small bedroom. Thankyou. - October 2010
This was a much needed short break, and it has worked wonders for us. So pleased with the lodge, everything we needed, and much more, thank you. October 2010
This was our first visit to the Lake District and we had a fantastic time. Kingfisher Lodge is very well looked after and everything is kept very clean The information packs that are provided in the lodge are extremely informative and helped us find our way. Pony Trekkiing is a great experience, even for novice riders and the walks are brilliant. We will be back in the future. Many thanks. - September 2010
Had another great week although the weather could have been better. But we had the much needed rest we needed. So relaxing watching the ponies in the field. Our dog Ben thought so too. He could not stop watching them . Every shop we went to were dog friendly. We did not do so much walking as last time we went to see local towns which we have enjoyed so much - especially Kendal and Keswick - we will be back again. - September 2010
This was our 1st visit to the Lake District and we had a brilliant time. Kingfisher Lodge is very clean, homely and well equipped (including outdoor storage in which we stored our wet weather gear.) The location of the Lodge is amazing with access to many walks with breathtaking views. All the local pubs (including The Haybarn on site and the Mortal Man 10 mins walk) are dog friendly and serve excellent food. We would recommend the lodge to anyone and will hopefully return next year. September 2010
Well we came here for the great North swim and unfortunately it was postponed. Thankfully our weekend wasn't ruined at all. In fact we've had the most relaxing time, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the fantastic lodges. We will definitely come back and the next time stay for longer. Thank you so much. - September 2010
It's our last day here and we are really sad to go. We have had such a relaxing time. jJust what the doctor ordered!! We've been blessed with great weather so have had some lovely days out walking to Ill Bell from behind the Hay Barn, looking around Windermere and on the ferry at Bowness. We took our dog Ruby too. This is her 1st holiday and she has absolutely loved it here. The pubs are all dog friendly she has loved all the walks we've been on. We definitely wants to come back here next year, we just wish we'd booked more time. - September 2010
We had a great holiday at Kingfisher. We had a wonderful time. We found the lodge really comfortable and cosy. It also contained everything that we needed. We found the field great for dog walks and the Haybarn in was also great for an evening drink. We have already recommended the cabin to family who wish to stay next year. We will be in touch. All in all a good time. - August 2010
We've had a brill time. Lodge was very comfortable and homely..... Scenery absolutely breathtaking. Weather was great on Sunday. We enjoyed a glass of wine or two sitting on the verandah. Hoping to be back soon - August 2010
The cabin is lovely - a perfect place to stay. we have had a wonderful time. This is a great place to unwind and relax. The boat trip on Derwent Water is a must!! Great walk too. We recommend the Waters Edge Inn in Ambleside for dinner. Amazing food. A lovely bar area to sit with your pooch. We walked up to Orrest Head near Windermere. Fabulous views of Lake Windermere and surrounding fells and don't need to be an intrepid explorer to get up there. Overall a fabulous break. Our greyhound absolutely loved it here. We shall definitely return.. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - June 2010

We spent our days walking here, there and everywhere. With tired legs we arrived back at your cosy cabin and we all snuggled up listening to the birds outside and the trickling stream. the cabin was fab, offering everything we could need! It's our dog's first holiday and he has had a fab time. None of us want to leave this great place. Thanks for everything. - April 2010
We have had a lovely stay here in your cabin. we have enjoyed the beautiful surrounding areas and have taken advantage of the leisure facilities. Thanks for a lovely break - April 2010
Had a great stay in the cabin. We were lucky enough to have great weather all week. Our seven month old baby boy had his first shot on the swings in the park and loved it. Our little dog Alfie got over his fear of water at the splash pool. The Lake District is a beautiful place with lots to see and do. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night watching the horses with a glass of wine... or two. Thanks again - April 2010
Had a fantastic time - the log cabin was fantastic. My little boy called it our "little wooden house". He was very impressed with the toys in his room and the rocket ships, stars and moons on the ceiling. We used the facilities at White Cross Bay and ate there also. We also ate at The Haybarn which was also very nice. We went into Bowness and hired a little boat on the lake and we went into Keswick. Thanks for such a great stay. We have had a fab time! See you soon - April 2010
We have had a lovely short break. The weather was fantastic. The lodge surpassed our expectations, home from home, relaxing and we really do not want to leave. When we arrived we met John in the dog field with his dog where our pugs Poppy and Stan met Suki. We went to Ambleside where the dogs played in the water and we had a lovely drink in the beautiful garden at the nearby pub. We ate in The Haybarn. My dogs were in heaven. Chilling under the table with a large bowl of water and a few treats. The food was fantastic and very reasonable. We were made very welcome and the staff were lovely. This was our first time in the Lakes but will not be the last. If you have small children you must visit the Beatrix Potter Attraction. Thank you very much. - April 2010
Thanks for a great break. Had fantastic weather and the lodge and park are amongst the best we have stayed in. Will hopefully be back next year. - April 2010
Kingfisher lodge is beautiful. We felt at home straight away, feeling relaxed and cosy in the comfiest sofas and beds in the world. The Haybarn is unbelievably accommodating to dogs and beautifully furnished. Jasper the Labradinger loved the dog field, especially running through the puddles and splashing around. We loved the fact that after a day of sightseeing and walking we could sit back, relax and have a game of Balderdash. See you next year - April 2010
Cabin was great for the dog, loved being in with us and was also very happy that he could go for a swim every morning, great location for a getaway. As for the weather we had sun, rain hail and snow! Slightly different from what we were expecting. Some great walks in the area although advised to do plenty of research! Local pubs were excellent, very nice food and some selection for vegetarians. Also dog friendly! The Kirkstone Inn being the best and also not as expensive, Looking to book for the Summer. Thanks. - April 2010
Had a great time, fantastic walks, good food, relaxing and welcoming lodge. Shame we have to leave but we will return. - March 2010
Wonderful, wonderful time! Lodge is fabulous, home from home with everything you need. Would strap it to car with the stream and take it back to Dorset!! Only one day of slight rain and then we were on a steam train so it didn't matter. Went on Ullswater and Windermere steamers, fantastic views. With Round Lakes pass 50% discount for Ravenglass and Eskdale steam railway, a beautiful 14 mile round trip. Then Coniston Lake and Donald Campbell's grave. (Rain stopped by then!) Off to Hawkshead and Tarn Hows (breathtaking) The evening in the Hay Barn Inn, thoroughly recommend. Great food and service. Very reasonable too! Last day (boo hoo!) Breakfast on the balcony, off to Kendal ( mint cake of course) then Ambleside and the Stock Ghyll force waterfall. Loved it. Dinner on the balcony tonight ( still no rain). Loads of info in lodge. Recommend Lakes and Cumbria Today book. Watching the horses in the field with a glass of wine and listening to the stream at mo. The Lake District is a beautiful place. Limefitt is wonderful couldn't have asked for more, and Kingfisher Lodge is perfect, whether you are a couple or family and must be a dog's idea of heaven. Phone and Internet reception great too. We have loved it and will be back and recommend. Thanks John and Linda - all info we needed was available in the lodge. Why stay anywhere else? " - March 2010
"Thoroughly enjoyed our short break in a very relaxing and homely lodge. We ate at the Hay Barn inn on-site and also the Mortal Man and would recommend both for excellent meals and friendly service. Our dog, Jake, was made very welcome at both(three-year-old black labrador) We look forward to visiting again. Many thanks." - March 2010
"I agree with all the previous comments, fantastic place!!" Doggy heaven". Barney and Lucy loved all the walks and wildlife. Hay Barn pub on-site excellent, dog friendly, lovely decor, were made to feel at home, food lovely. Well worth a walk to two pubs uphill - Queens Head and Mortal Man. Really happy with accommodation - got everything you need. Will definitely be coming back. We will recommend to friends. Thanks very much!" - March 2010
"We have a lovely short break, the weather held out and even some sunshine. We visited with a five-month-old who settled in straight away and was exhausted by the end of every day. Went to White Cross to use the swimming facilities. It was spotless and can highly recommend them even with a baby! Will definitely be coming back again, hopefully with friends in tow. Many Thanks." - March 2010
"What a great site and place for a holiday! So very relaxing, could stay all Summer! Can recommend The Hay Barn inn on site for food. Small menu but amazing value for money!! Recommended over The Mortal Man. Loving the friendly ducks and sheep (yes sheep!). Fantastic weather, sunny every day!! Walks in back of green folder are the best. Fantastic views on some. Lodge is very well equipped, don't want for anything while here. If walking back from The Mortal Man or the Queens Head at this time of year (i.e. when dark at 9 p.m.) take a torch! All in all we had a lovely time. We will definitely recommend to friends and we hope to be back soon! Thanks very much." - March 2010
"We have had a lovely holiday weather has been great considering the time of year. Facilities have been excellent and we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday! Looking forward to coming back." - March 2010
"We had a really great time here and the walks that are in the green folder are really nice (we did the one to Ing Bridge) and especially nice in the snow. It's very warm and cosy in here and it has lovely views. Thanks for a really great holiday. We will return." - January 2010

"Had a very relaxing time. Just what the doctor ordered! Would love to come back in the summer. 10 out of 10 for a winter break! Thanks."

"A wonderful quiet retreat far from the madding crowd. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Everything we needed was here!" - November 2009
"Thank you. Perfect break even though it rained constantly! The lodge is very comfortable and well equipped - recliners are lovely. Would recommend the Mortal Man pub - food lovely, big puddings!" - November 2009
"Had a great time. Lodge lovely and well equipped. Went on some lovely walks Saturday but Sunday weather bad. Cassie (the dog) wouldn't put her nose outside the door - So I opened the French doors, reclined the chair, cup of tea and a book, listened to the river run by and took in the scenery - Ah Bliss!" - November 2009
"Had a lovely time this week with the autumn colours at their peak. Quite mild temperatures for this time of year and very little rain. Perfect!" - October 2009
"Really like this Kingfisher Lodge with all the comforts of home and the sound of the stream just outside. So relaxing. Definitely thinking about getting a reclining sofa when we get home! Many thanks for the memories." - October 2009
"Finally found the holiday base that is perfect (not easy with two teenage boys!). Weather has been diabolical and yet loved every moment of it! (Always rains in when we visit the Lakes!) The lodge is absolutely lovely, as is the site. " Gromit", the dog, loved wandering round the decking area. So peaceful here. Everything here that we needed. Loved the selection of books and films. We know the area well as we only live an hour's drive away, but it's so relaxing to find a place to stay that feels so "right". Only wish could stay longer. A lovely escape from a hectic life. Hopefully will return soon and would certainly recommend to friends." - October 2009
"Fabulous location. So relaxing with the river outside the cabin. The first walk we did was to the fantastic Queens Head pub. Quite a challenge if you aren't expecting it. Their food is amazing and we love the quaint tradition of putting coins where every nook and cranny allows you to do so. Was very welcoming for Belle (little terrier), whose holiday it was, for of course she settled really quickly, but she isn't used to so many sheep being a "townie". The cabin is so comfortable and homely. Love the decking area listening to the river. Would love to come again. Thank you. - October 2009"
"A fabulous week here at Kingfisher Lodge weather has been kind to us, apart from one day. Been very relaxing. Done some fabulous walks and Jess and Cassie (dogs) have really enjoyed it too. We had a visit to the local vets in Windermere where we had to take Cassie on Sunday. Have to say we were really impressed. We hope to be back here next year but perhaps we can stay a bit longer next time." - October 2009
"The weather passable. The accommodation great. The Lakes wonderful. The scenery awe-inspiring. The holiday magnificent. Three of us, one a first timer, one a few times, one once having lived here, all of us are heading home refreshed and grateful for having spent a week in Kingfisher Lodge thank you for the opportunity ." - October 2009
"Lodge extremely comfortable, fantastic location. Although weather not brilliant did everything we wanted to do. Great information in the Lodge - very useful." - October 2009
"We don't want to go back home either. It's the ongoing thread in this book. Great lodge, great location and for us great weather. Could not ask for more, and yes, we also will be back next year. Our dog's already looking forward to it." - September 2009

"We really, really do not want to leave! This has been one of the best short breaks we have been on so far. The cabin is so comfortable, peaceful and has everything you could possibly need. The walks are great (even if the rain never eased up!) and the whole experience has us wishing to come back. Our dog Penny looks so miserable as we are packing away. I may have to make her feel better by cooking her a chicken! The break was worth every penny (as in money not our dog). We will be back. Thank you for everything" - August 2009
"Beautiful comfortable lodge - everything provided. Wonderful local food - an ideal spot to escape the world. Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing two weeks (Can you arrange drier weather next time? :-))" - August 2009

"Well it's time to leave and we really, rally want to stay! The last 3 days have been fabulous... We've been blessed with good weather and your lodge is beautiful (especially the "marshmallow" beds - perfect after a days hiking!). Saturday morning we went to Wansfell Pike and the views from the top were simply stunning, so we've taken lots of photos for keepsakes. We've enjoyed every minute from bbq's to Pimms on the terrace, boat trips and badminton to reclining on your comfy sofa with a nice cup of tea and a blanket! We only wish we were here for a week! Without doubt we'll be back.. thank you again for everything" - July 2009
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Beautiful, peaceful location. We had some lovely walks with our dog, Rusky, and thought the cabins were ideally situates to explore the local area. Althugh the weather forecast was daunting we still managed to dodge the rain and have two BBQs. " - July 2009

"The river, the ducks and the heron fly pasts plus very nice weather. Don't want to go home yet, neither does Wolfy. Very tempted to put the sofa on the roof of the car. The surrounding area is stunning and we enjoyed the local walks and in particular the dog field". Very comfortable and relaxing from start to finish. " - June 2009
"We fully agree with everything previously said about Kingfisher lodge and Limefitt. We've had a brilliant week. We've also enjoyed the antics of the ducks and jackdaws when we've thrown food for them. Our dog (border collie) found the verandah to be a good vantage point for keeping an eye on the sheep in the field opposite. When not "sheep watching", hill walking, eating and snoozing, she took us to the dog field for a run around whilst we admired the beautiful scenery. . This is a great place for dogs (and humans!). Lovely lodge, lovely park, lovely weather and spectacular scenery - Perfect. Happy holidays!" - June 2009
"We've had a wonderful time. Changeable weather but that didn't detract from our holiday. Kingfisher Lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The site is lovely. Well maintained, well laid out and a fabulous walk along the bridle path." - June 2009
"Really don't want to leave the lodge. We've had the best holiday here. A mini heatwave in a beautiful setting. Breakfast on the decking was lovely. We've been to the Lakes many times but usually stayed in Windermere Village. This time we've done a lot more. The lodge is a great base for exploring the lakes. Eveything is in the lodge that you need. A lovely lovely place. Thanks for a great holiday and would love to visit again.(I've had a great time too - Maggie the dog)" - June 2009
"Had a fabulous week in the lodge. The weather was fab. It was so relaxing and comfortable. You don't have to go off park - everything you need is at your door. Shop, park, pool etc. This was our first time away in the Lakes with our labrador Molly. She loved it and even learned to swim in the Lakes (riverpool). She'll probably sleep for a week when we get her home . Ha Ha. We are definitely going to book again for next year. Can't wait. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. PS the lodge was also fab. Everything we needed was here especially the double bed. Thank you" - May 2009
