Kirkstone Lodge is a privately owned, luxury, 2 bedroom detached pine lodge providing self-catering accommodation for up to 4 people in the beautiful tranquil valley of Troutbeck near Windermere, perfectly placed for your relaxation and leisure.

General Description

Welcome to our privately owned lodge, which was built in 2007 to very high specifications providing luxury accommodation for up to 4 people. To ensure you have a most relaxing and comfortable stay there is full gas central heating and double glazing. There is a balcony and sun deck to take full advantage of the views and sunny aspect, situated by the bridleway with easy access to the Lakeland fells from the lodge.

The 5* Limefitt Park facilities include the Haybarn Inn serving ales and food, a shop and a children's adventure play area, all set in the most beautiful of locations.

• Family bathroom with corner bath, toilet, hand basin, shaver point
• Centrally heated towel rail

• Good private parking along side lodge
• Decking area in sunny position with patio furniture to side and front
• Parasol, bbq and planted tubs, views over valley and hills

Other information:

• For the comfort of our quests there is a Strictly No Smoking policy
• Fire extinguisher and blanket
• Selection of games and DVDs (can also be rented in the shop)
• Good selection of local maps and walks
• Leisure/Swimming passes available at reception for White Cross Bay

Rental Notes:

• Weekly changeover is normally on Friday
• The total price includes gas, electricity, duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels/tea towels
• Cleaning/laundry charge on departure is included
• A deposit of £100 will secure your booking, remaining balance due 4 weeks before arrival
• Check in time is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival
• The lodge must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure
• Short breaks are not usually available during the peak holiday periods, however enquiries may be considered at short notice
• Regrettably no pets are allowed
• Strict no smoking policy in the lodge and decking areas
• Sorry no single sex groups under age 25, exceptions may be made to this rule at the owners discretion

"Really enjoyed our time in your lodge - in such beautiful surroundings. This is our favourite area a base for exploring the area. Really good meals in the 'Queens Head' at Hawkshead - a quick trip over on the car ferry. Visit the Hawkshead Relish Shop!! Lots of good walks on the doorstep, starting just behind 'The Haybarn' on site. We also enjoyed a good game of pitch & put (just behind the tourist information centre) Bowness" August 09
