Mountain View is a privately owned 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom pine lodge, providing luxurious self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 4 people.

A warm welcome from the owners of Mountain View which is newly available to rent from June 2010. Modern clean features with all the comforts of home to enhance your visit to the beautiful lake district.

Relax on the patio and watch the sun go down after a walk on the fells, a boat trip on Lake Windermere or a potter around the shops in Ambleside. The views from the lodge are amazing.

Conveniently placed in a peaceful location with everything you need for a total recharge and a wonderful holiday! A small piece of your own personal heaven.

We regret no pets. Mountain View has a no smoking policy inside the lodge.

Mountain View is situated on Fellside at Limefitt Park (LA23 1PA) which is a wonderful five star holiday park located just ½ hour drive from J36 M6. There is a river pool, field with football,badminton and tennis nets, pub (The Haybarn) and shop.

Placed like a jewel in the crown of the Troutbeck valley on the A592, it's just a short drive to Windermere/Ambleside and a breath taking 20 min scenic drive to Ullswater.

Mountain View - Tariff

Rental Notes:

Weekly changeover is normally on Friday.
When availability allows, we may consider alternative requests
Weekend break is Fri/Sat /Sun (3 nights)
Midweek break is Mon-Fri (4 nights)
Total price includes mains gas, electricity, bed linen (except travel cot bedding) and towels.
A deposit of £100 or (25% if greater) will secure your booking and the balance becomes due 6 weeks before your arrival date.
Cancellation must be notified 6 weeks prior to commencement of holiday. The deposit is non refundable. The balance is non returnable if we are unable to secure another booking at short notice.
Check in time is from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
The lodge must be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure.
Short breaks available outside peak holiday periods.

The lodge itself is beautiful and so welcoming - all the little extra's make such a difference and it was spotlessly clean. We were lucky with the weather too and were able to make use of the decking area.

What did we like? In short, everything! Peace and quiet of the location, the general ambience of Limefitt, privacy, comfort and facilities (the adventure playground and stream being particular hits) and the freedom to come and go as we pleased. We went from dining alfresco at 24 degrees on Friday evening to putting on the heating at 11 degrees on Sunday evening but we were always comfortable. If you will have us, we will definitely book again. Thanks again and keep up the good work,

We really enjoyed our weekend break. Mountain View far exceeded expectations and was very comfortable. The site was beautifully located, quiet, relaxing and friendly. Well we made it after our delay re weather and my God was it worth the wait.The surroundings were beautiful and the lodge was just superb, there was everything and more. I know I thought it looked lovely on your web site but when you arrive it really excels your expectations. We have already discussed a later visit as our friends were as impressed as we were. Lovely lodge, makes your holiday extra special in luxurious surroundings! Our 2 year old loved the play park. Brockhole and Grisedale forrest, great family days out. Visited the aquarium at Lakeside and the swimming pool down the road on rainy days. A lovely break.

Lovely lodge and park, had a great time even in non stop rain for 7 days Found lots to do for two children. Found a great Chinese opposite Royalty Cinema in Bowness and would recommend a boat trip. Children had lots of fun playing on the balcony, our son loved the wifi cordless headphones, kept him quiet for a while. Hope to be back.
