Welcome

Welcome to the Limefitt Forums!

There are two types of forum here:

  • An open forum where visitors can ask questions and post
  • A closed forum for owners to discuss issues affecting them

If you are an owner at Limefitt and wish to join the Owners' Forum please register here and send a private message to me (Windermere Lodge) telling me which lodge or caravan you own, so that I can add you to the Owners's group.

Please be aware that this forum has no official connection with South Lakeland Parks who own and manage Limefitt Park.

Thanks!

John

Thanks Ian!

All you need to do is click on New Topic (or Reply).

To add an image you can either link to a url using the IMG tags like I did just then or attach is to the post using the Additional Options section at the bottom of the edit window like I am doing now with the same screenshot

There is a good help page on BB code (the formatting stuff at the top when you post a message here) at

http://limefitt.com/smf/index.php?action=help;page=post

For those who are less technically minded, don't worry - just type - it's the content not the format that matters  :)

Regards

John

It's a pleasure   ;D

It'd be good if we could get a few more people joined - especially on the owners board.

Do please feel free to tell everyone that we are here!!!

How about some small flyers with details on, to give to other owners?

I did do some business card sized adverts and left them in the owners' lounge. They all went, but I suspect that the bar staff just tidied them away  :'(

One problem with doing flyers is that the lodges don't have post boxes in the doors so you can't post them!!! Leaving them on the deck would just mean they blew around and became rubbish.

But .... If I get some done before the BBQ at the Mortal Man then maybe the word will spread a bit then.

Hi everyone!!  ;D  This is a cool site I think I've said that already John  :) - what about laminating a wee card and tying it on a door handle??  Or would that be too much/intrusive?  I've laminated and cut out some of the 'from the doorstep walks' on your site John - just for renters to put in their pockets whilst attempting the walks you've recommended - do you want me to do some for you?? Just thought it would be handy for folks - let me know if there's anything we could be doing to promote the site - and are there any other bikers at Limefitt?? Hope to see ya's soon - athe the Mortal Man for a start!

I think those laminated walks sound like a great idea and would love a few copies  ;D

What size have you done them in out of interest?

Interesting idea about laminating some forum business cards too - it would get round the rubbish problem but would take a bit of time.  I'll give that some thought.....

I'd love some of the walks leaflets too - laminated or not as I have a laminator at home. Great idea.
